NiGHTS:Crystal the beginning 1

this is my first story ever (on my own, I'm writing a NiGHTS story with chunkymonkeyx it should be up soon) so be easy on me, advice is welcome just go easy on me please I'm new and I hope you enjoy my story it is a NiGHTS story. NiGHTS is a girl sorry, i see it as a girl. (sorry with my tense, I keep writing in past tense when I want it to be present)I promise it will get better. This is NOT a NXJ thing they are so close like brother and sister

I do not own any NiGHTS related characters they belong to Sega and the sonic team

I only own Crystal and her friends and family.

"Come on, Crystal! Hurry up! We need to go!"shouts a 14 year old girl with curly, blonde hair with big, light blue eyes, that is waiting at the bottom of the stairs. She is wearing a pink tank top and a lilac skirt with sandals.

"I'm coming! Don't worry, Angel!" yelled a golden haired girl as she rushes around her room.

She is wearing a light white tank top with a sliver lining star at the bottom of the top with a royal blue waist jacket, she is also wearing jeans with trainers. She doesn’t wear any jewelry except a single crystal heart necklace around her neck, that she has worn since she was a baby. Her eyes is a dark blue, with specks of silver, that is sparkling with excitement.

“Where are you?” mumbles Crystal, lifting a top up.

“Aha! Got it!” announces Crystal excited as she picks up her phone, with earphones.

“Crystal!” yells Angel impatiently.

“Coming!” yells Crystal rushing down the stairs before stuffing her phone in her pocket.

She rushes and grabs Angel while saying, "Bye mum, got to go! see ya!" Leaving a trail of dust behind.

"Wait, don't you want any-" 'SLAM!' Crystal slammed the door shut. "......breakfast,"her mum finished as a sweat drop appeared.

The two girls is running down the street as fast as they can. "We're late!" exclaimed Angel as they continue to dodge people and carry on sprinting.

"I know! I know! I overslept!" answered Crystal as she ran.

They finally made it to their destination, the beach. "Hey!"said sandy blonde haired boy with dark brown eyes as he noticed the two girls running towards him.

"Hi Kyle," panted Crystal as she came to a halt.

"Hiya," said Angel as she is trying to get her breath back.

Kyle is also 15, and is wearing a simple red t-shirt and jeans, with trainers.

"Are we on time?" asked crystal as she got her breath back.

"Just barely! let me guess, Crystal overslept again, didn't she?" asked Kyle.

"Hey!"exclaimed Crystal offended.

"Well, you can't blame him, this is the ninth time in a row, you sleep in later and later each time," pointed out Angel.


"it's not my fault," replied Crystal as she looked down at her feet. 'it's those stupid dreams I keep having, it's so scattered, and the dream always turns into a nightmare, why hasn't it stopped? and what does it mean?' thinks Crystal.

"Hello? Earth to Crystal,"said Angel as she waved a hand in front of Crystals face.

"Huh?" said Crystal as she is brought back to reality.

"You were spacing out on us again,"answered Kyle.

"Sorry guys, I was in deep thought," said Crystal sheepishly.

"About what?" questioned Angel curiously.

"Oh, nothing,"answered Crystal. She really didn't want to tell her friends the nightmares she has been having.

"No it isn't nothing, tell me!" persisted Angel.

"No, it's nothing, honest,"lied Crystal.

Angel is about to disagree when Kyle comes to Crystal's rescue and changes the subject by saying, "Hey, who wants ice cream? My treat,"

Angel immediately forgets the conversation and says, "Yay!!! Ice cream!" and she darts off.

Crystal gives Kyle a quick thank you look before Angel starts yelling, "Come on, guys!" and Kyle and Crystal chase after her.

"Hey! Wait up!"yelled Kyle.

It is a really sunny day so it might be just what they needed. They got their favourite flavours, chocolate for Kyle, strawberry for Angel and vanilla for Crystal with a flake. They are eating, talking, walking while Crystal is trying to shove her dreams to the back of her head. Suddenly, 3 sheep like things jump out at them, startling them, they looked exactly the same, except the middle one, it's horns had different colours to the other two.

"Huh?" questioned Crystal confused.

"Aww! It's so cute!" squealed Angel as she went towards it.

"I wouldn't get to close to it if I was you,"warned Kyle.

Angel crouched down and said, "well, I'm not you,"

"Angel, I agree with him, something doesn't seem right," said Crystal worried.

"Relax, what's the worst that can happen?" asked Angel as she faced them on her knees.

Suddenly, the one on the right jumped up and bit her. "OW!" screamed Angel then she collapsed.

"Angel!" shouted Crystal concerned as she and Kyle ran towards her, dropping their ice creams. The one on the left bit him as he reached Angel first, then he pasted out.

"Kyle!" screamed Crystal now extremely worried. She started shaking them both.

"Come on, wake up!" yelled Crystal desperately.

She looked up and sees a door appear out of no where. Next the final sheep thing jumped at her but she dodge out the way in time, it continued trying to bite her as she dodge them all. She looked around and noticed she is cornered against the door. She tried to open the door but it didn't work.

"Come on! Open up you stupid door!" yelled Crystal in frustration.

She turned around before it could try to bite her again, she moved backwards slowly as they started growling. She is trapped. She starts thinking, 'Great, I'm going to get knocked down by a bunch of sheep, how humiliating, Why me? What have I ever done to deserve this?'

She leans back on the door and suddenly she fell back as the door open, letting a squeal come out. The sheep like thing jumped forward only to have it face smashed against the door. On the other side, Crystal is unconscious from the impact of the fall.

Meanwhile, NiGHTS is at the dream gate, ignoring Owl as he went on and on about, how she shouldn't scare his elders, and she should pay respect towards him and how she shouldn't of stole Reala's lipstick to use on him and blah, blah, blah! NiGHTS finally had enough and flew off leaving a very angry bird behind.

'Gosh! that old bird drives me insane at times, if I would of stayed, I would of gone insane as Jackle,' then NiGHTS stopped flying.

"Jackle," whispered NiGHTS softly as her eyes started going watery a bit.

She felt sad and guilty about how she beaten Jackle in their last fight how she hasn't seen Jackle in a while, he was probably punished really bad if he still hasn't shown up, most likely dead. A single tear fell down her face. She is suddenly distracted from her thoughts as she spotted something in the middle of the woods. She flew down to get a better look, and she gasped. It is someone unconscious.
